WILD PASSPORT

The Wild Passport is a flexible outdoor learning curriculum that provides a framework for us to teach new skills to the young people who attend our sessions. It is designed to compliment other outdoor learning approaches, including Forest School.  It lends itself to both group and 1:1 work. The curriculum covers five competencies to take learners from the foundations of bushcraft skills through to an advanced level. These competencies include fire lighting, tool use, using ropes, exploring nature and den building.

Using this curriculum allows our students to look for ideas to inspire their learning and to see progression in the skills they have learnt. We are guided by the interests of our students and our site offers many opportunities to explore the themes within the WILD Passport, either through directed activities or spontaneous child led learning.
